The Monteverdi family has been intertwined with winemaking since 1796, when Angelo Maria Monteverdi began producing wine in his tavern to share with guests. This passion passed through generations, and in 1920, Francesco Monteverdi founded the family’s first modern winery, becoming a key player in the Po River Valley wine scene. Antonio Monteverdi’s vision further expanded the family’s legacy, solidifying their reputation by producing exceptional wines from across Italy’s diverse regions.
