PROVOLO WINES

The story of Provolo Wines is one of deep family tradition and commitment to the land. Since 1927, the Provolo family has cultivated their vineyards in Mezzane, a small valley east of Verona. Over four generations, they have passed down the passion and knowledge of winemaking, maintaining a delicate balance between tradition and innovation.
The journey began with Guglielmo Provolo, a visionary who recognized the winemaking potential of the region. Despite coming from a family of sharecroppers, Guglielmo invested in land to start his own winery. His son Luigino Provolo continued the legacy through the challenges of World War II, expanding the winery and introducing innovative techniques like underground cellars for aging wine. Today, Marco Provolo, along with his children Matteo and Alessia, lead the family business, combining historical winemaking practices with modern technology to produce wines of exceptional quality.
Their vineyards are located in a region renowned for its ideal microclimate, which has supported viticulture since Roman times. The family philosophy emphasizes respecting the natural pace of the vines, resulting in wines that balance complexity, structure, and longevity. From the famed Amarone to their organic Soave, each Provolo wine embodies the family’s dedication to quality.
